Roonie Music

Michaela Pointon has had a year of huge growth in her music. After the successful release of her debut EP, 'Human Nature' in November 2018, Michaela has moved to Auckland where she is studying, writing new songs and building a name for herself in the music scene. Michaela is releasing her new single in the coming weeks and has an exciting plan for her music in 2020.

Dan Sharp

Soulful songwriter, Dan Sharp has spent the last two years slowly carving out a place in the NZ music landscape. Early 2018 saw him collaborate with acclaimed artist/producer, Thomas Oliver. The resulting first single, Lifeline, achieved several thousand plays quickly on the back of strong reviews from international blogs, including Australia's Happy Magazine. Dan then spent 6 weeks song writing with established writers in the UK and Ireland. To round out the trip, Dan and Thomas linked up once again and recorded the remainder of Dan's EP, Slack Tide in Berlin. The EP achieved NZ Chart positions, 5-star reviews and Official Spotify playlisting - the top song, Kindle and Coal reaching half a million plays in under two months. From playing festival stages (Rhythm and Vines 2018/19) to smaller shows all over NZ, Dan is steadily making his mark on the local and international scene.
